HOW LASER TATTOO REMOVAL WORKS...

One of the most common questions asked is, "how does laser tattoo removal work?" Well, it's a relatively complex process called selective photothermolysis. When I teach laser tattoo removal to nurses, interns, residents, and other physicians I go into specific detail but most patients want to keep the explanation simple. I usually have them watch THIS VIDEO.

Side effects from laser tattoo removal include swelling, blistering, tissue texture changes, and discoloration all of which are usually temporary. Very rarely scarring can take place as well.
